Dream DiversDREAM DIVERS was established in 1996 on Gili Air by Astrid and Gerd. Today you can find DREAM DIVERS PADI 5* diving facilities, including booking office and shop, in Senggigi, the Sheraton Senggigi, Gili Air, and a PADI 5* IDC on Gili Trawangan, where we also have our 6 bungalows located behind the dive center, and 6 balcony rooms on top of the center. Our beach front restaurant on Gili Trawangan offers a wide range of Indonesian and international cuisine, and our pool side bar serves you refreshing drinks and cocktails. Sadly, Gerd unexpectedly passed away in October 2010. He is much missed by his team, who continue his life's work in loving memory. DREAM DIVERS is much more than a dive operator. Our Head Office in Senggigi is there to help ensure that your holiday is unforgetable. We can assist you with hotel reservations, transport, fast boats, ferries & domestic flights, sightseeing tours, outdoor activities, dive trips to South Lombok, Bali, or Komodo, snorkeling trips, and much, much, more. The Management Andreas Johnstone (Austrian, PADI OWSI 260435) General Manager Born and raised in Austria, I discovered my passion for sea-based activities at a very young age. Starting to Scuba Dive was just as natural as having breakfast in the morning, and it has continued to be fun since my very first dive. After many years living in a country with no direct access to an ocean, I decided it was about time to relocate and to convert my passion into my profession. I am based at the DREAM DIVERS Head Office in Senggigi, and together with my enthusiastic staff we pride ourselves in delivering excellent services to our guests – on land and below the sea. I look forward to welcoming you and it is our pleasure to introduce you to the fascinating underwater world of the Gili Islands.
Lorna Johnstone (Scottish, PADI DM 277251) Operations & Marketing Manager
Born in Scotland, I grew up by the ocean and water always seemed to be my natural element. It was therefore, only a matter of time until I discovered my passion for diving. From the first session in the pool, I knew that underwater was the place I wanted to be, and so it was a natural development to decide to swap the bleak urban life, for one in the sun that brought me closer to the fascinating sub-aqua environment. My motto was always, “It’s not a matter of where you are, but where you want to be!”. I am based in the DREAM DIVERS Head Office in Senggigi, and am always there to be of assistance to both the DREAM DIVERS facilities and our guests.
