PADI Courses |
All courses are taught in small groups (max 4 students), taught by experienced PADI Instructors. Should there be more participants than 4 students, a PADI Divemaster will accompany you. For all our guests we provide liability release coverage. If you prefer to stay in Senggigi, you can do your course in our Divecenter Sheraton Senggigi (theory and pool-sessions) or join our daily transport service to and from the islands. If you would like to stay overnight at the Gilis during a course, we will transfer you there and afterwards back to Senggigi. Courses always include equipment, book, certification and liability insurance. Our goal: safety and fun in a familiar atmosphere. PADI Discover Scuba Diving (1 day)For those who would like to discover the thrills of the underwater world, but who are not yet sure whether they wish to become certified, we provide our introductory dive: Basic PADI diving theory, confined water skills and equipment orientation, 1 open water dive accompanied by a professional PADI Instructor.

PADI Scuba Diver (2 days)The new offer from PADI for beginners with limited time. After the course you are certified to dive together with a PADI Instructor or PADI Divemaster to a depth of 12 m. Worldwide, you can continue to the PADI Open Water Diver, which means, you receive credit towards the course. This course includes: Compact PADI diving theory (3 modules), confined water training (3 modules), 2 open water dives down to 12 m, personal logbook and certification.

PADI Junior Scuba Diver(starting 10 years of age) Junior courses for your kids have the same content and price and take the same amount of time as the courses for adults. As soon as your kids are 15 years old, they can upgrade their certification from a "Junior" to a normal certification.

PADI Open Water Diver (3-4 days)The standard course for beginners. You will get the knowledge and the experience to safely enjoy the underwater world. With this lifetime certification you can dive all around the world. This course includes: PADI diving theory (5 modules), confined water training (5 modules), 4 open water dives (2 down to 12 m and 2 down to 18 m), personal logbook and certification.

PADI Junior Open Water Diver(starting 10 years of age) Junior courses for your kids have the same content and price and take the same amount of time as the courses for adults. As soon as your kids are 15 years old, they can upgrade their certification from a "Junior" to a normal certification. For certified Junior Scuba divers or Junior Open Water divers, dives are only allowed together with their parents or a professional Instructor. Starting from 12 years, they are allowed to dive with any adult.

PADI Enriched Air/Nitrox (2 days)Also called Nitrox or "EANx" and for 30 years already used by professional divers, Nitrox allows you to expand your bottom time. It is nothing else than normal air, where some of the nitrogen has been replaced by oxygen. With proper training Nitrox makes diving more safe than diving with normal air: the course will give you the necessary knowledge and all skills to enjoy Nitrox dives safely and with fun. You will learn, how to plan dives with enriched air and how to calculate your no-decompression limits and your maximum allowable oxygen exposure. Theory of Nitrox diving, 2 dives (EANx 32 oder ENAx 36), crew pack and certification.

PADI Scuba Review (1 day)Our Refresher course-it has been a while since you were diving? Use this program to regain your confidence in the water. This program includes: Review of the basic diving theory, confined water session concentrating on the most important skills and 1 dive.

Advanced Open Water Diver (2-3 days)An exciting course designed to enable you to safely venture into new and more challenging environments. You will feel safer and have more fun. PADI Emergency First Response (1 day)(starting 12 years of age) Divers as well as non-divers, profit from this course which combines basic life support, with CPR and first aid. This course is mandatory for the Rescue Course.

PADI Rescue Diver course (3-4 days)In this course, you will learn how to help other divers effectively, but also how to prevent problems before they occur. Additionally you will gain more confidence for yourself. Most divers, having taken this course, say this is one of the most worthwhile courses PADI offers. To become certified, you need proof of a First Aid course (including CPR) completed within the last 2 years.

PADI Divemaster course (at least 3 weeks)As a Divemaster, you are already a professional. With the extensive knowledge and all the skills, you will get in the course you can supervise other divers in many training and dive activities. You will plan, organize and lead dive trips. The course is the first step onto a professional career, but also a unique challenge for any diver interested in personal development. The price is not including materials.

PADI Assistant Instructor Course (at least 10 days)This course was developed to give PADI Divemasters additional qualifications as training assistants and Instructors. PADI's new IDC was split into two parts in 2001: After completing the Assistant Instructor Course (AI), you have already mastered the first four days of the whole IDC and are now entitled to participate at the following OWSI (Open Water Scuba Instructor) program. Its priority is, to expand your skills for teaching. With self study, normal lessons and practical application you will learn how to give presentations and how to conduct the following PADI courses and programs: PADI Skin Diver, PADI Speciality Courses, Peak Performance Buoyancy & Project AWARE, Discover Scuba, Discover Local Diving and Discover Snorkelling, as well as the teaching of the Open Water Diver Course in the classroom, pool and open water. You will also get familiar with PADI standards and procedures, the structure of the diving industry and you will get an introduction in basic marketing ideas, the selling philosophy and questions about risk management.

PADI Instructor Development Course, IDC (9 days)As a Divemaster, you have brought your skills and your theoretical knowledge to perfection. As an Instructor, you will give your knowledge and your skills to others. As soon as you are certified as a PADI Divemaster or Assistant Instructor you can go on with your training to become an instructor. The newly revised IDC consists of two parts. The Assistant Instructor program (AI = 3 days) and the Open Water Scuba Instructor program (OWSI = 4 days). Should you feel, that your knowledge of Divemaster theory or your skills are maybe a bit "rusty", you can take part in the 2 day IDC preparation course. This course is, with us, free of charge and we will fit it to your personal needs. During the IDC, with help from course materials, you will conduct theory, pool and open water presentations to gain experience on how to teach theory and practice. You will also get a clearer understanding of the PADI philosophy of continuing education,the available programs and learn more about important marketing strategies. PADI Bubblemaker for Kids from 8 years onDuring this program, your kids can try diving by playing in the pool, always accompanied by one of our experienced instructors. After that, they will receive the Bubblemaker certificate.
