Become a PADI Dive Instructor

The PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) is an approx. 2 week intensive course designed to prepare qualified candidates to become PADI instructors. The course provides a professional learning experience in which we focus on getting you ready for the Instructor Examination (IE) which covers Confined Water Teaching, Open Water Teaching, Academic Teaching, PADI Standards and Procedures and Academic topics such as Physics, Physiology, Equipment and more.

The Instructor Training program is intense, fun, demanding and exciting all at the same time. Candidates have fun, make new friends, and share rewarding life experiences while earning some of the most demanded credentials in the dive industry.

When you complete the IDC, you will have been trained and prepared to successfully attend the PADI Instructor Examination (IE). This is the final step toward your Open Water Scuba Instructor certification that will open the doors to a successful career in diving in the most beautiful places around the world.

As a prerequisite candidates have to be PADI Divemaster (or a similar qualification level of other dive organisations) with at least 100 logged dives.
