DIVE GUIDE

The first step into the professional diving world, learn how to lead groups of certified divers as well as essential skills you need to be a comfortable with as a dive leader. Skills such as: site mapping, boat organization, equipment maintenance as well as shop organization will help you become a confident and reliable SSI professional.

• Minimum age: 15 years old (Must be 18 years old to work as an active status Professional Dive Guide). Must have completed the Advanced Adventurer program or higher or hold an equivalent rating from a recognized agency. Have a Diver Stress and Rescue certification or equivalent. Must have logged at least 40 open water dives totaling 25 hours or more.
