Thinking of starting a diving course?
Choosing to start your diving adventure with us means that you will complete an SSI diving course that focuses on fun and safety with groups of students no more than 4 per instructor. This allows the focus to be on each skill and individual needs of the students and allows them to be performed to a high level. The schedule of your course will always be flexible and you can plan it with your instructor according to your holiday plan.
SSI is one of the biggest leaders in the diving industry and all SSI certifications are recognised worldwide in every dive centre. SSI also requires swimming abilities to start a diving course because safety is a main priority. Extra swimming lessons are available if arranged in advance and providing that we have available instructors.
Diving course materials, and our instructors, are suitable for almost any language and our instructors can speak fluent English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Finnish. For more information about the schedules and the prerequisites have a look on the section below.

Dive Courses Gili Trawangan
- Try Dive: Age10+, theory, pool session and 1 dive in the ocean
- Scuba Diver: Age 10+. Duration 2 days. Max dive depth 12 meters
- Open Water Diver: Age 10+. Duration 2-3 days. Max dive depth 18 meters
- Speciality Courses: Age 15+. Duration 1-2 days per speciality. Max 30m
- Advanced Course: Age 12+. Duration 2-3 days. Max Dive Depth 30m
- Rescue Diver: Age 15+. Duration 4 days.
- First Aid Course: Duration ½ day
- Nitrox Diver: Age 15+. Duration 2 days.
Professional Qualifications
The Dive Center Dream Divers in Gili Trawangan is a training center for everyone that would like to become a professional in the diving business. We are able to do courses up to dive master every month. We require you to bring a smile and positive mental attitude that will help you to be ready to change your life, move out of your office and step into the professional diving industry. Our education system is based around SSI standards and guidelines, with our special touch to make it a more comprehensive and a fun learning environment.
We provide training in German, English, French, Dutch and Spanish (basic English is enough). Flexible teaching \ learning pedagogy based on each candidate learning and teaching style, although you will be encouraged to find your own style of teaching that fits in with the SSI guidelines.
- Dive Master: Age 18+. Duration 4 weeks+, unlimited diving
- Dive Guide: Age 18 or older, duration 3 weeks minimum, unlimited diving
Prerequisite for this course is diver Stress and Rescue, 55 logged dives
